\nDTactics Navigation Limited creates innovative GPS, laser and optical products for a variety of different markets. The brands that DTactics uses to promote these products are recognized by customers world-wide, which makes them extremely valuable to DTactics. Proper use of our trademarks helps maintain and increase the value of our brands.
\nThe following trademark guidelines are provided to facilitate consistent, proper use of DTactics trademarks.<\/p>\n
DTactics Trademarks<\/p>\n
DTactics maintains many trademarks for its products and services.
\nSome examples of our trademarks are the word \u201cDTactics,\u201d the globe and triangle logo, and the words \u201cDTactics Navigation Limited.\u201d Most, if not all, of our product names are trademarks.<\/p>\n
Proper Use<\/p>\n
You may use DTactics trademarks to refer to DTactics products or services, as long as such references are appropriate and consistent with these trademark guidelines. DTactics resellers and distributors should refer to the trademark guidelines available on our distributor website.<\/p>\n
A DTactics trademark should not be used in a manner that would suggest that the trademark is owned by a person other than DTactics. A DTactics trademark must not be used in a way that makes a customer think that DTactics sponsors or manufactures another party\u2019s product, or that another party is the sponsor or manufacturer of a DTactics product.<\/p>\n
Corporate logo and trade dress.
\nThe corporate logo consists of the name \u201cDTactics\u201d and the globe and triangle design. You may not use the corporate logo without prior, written permission from DTactics. Where the corporate logo appears on DTactics products, packaging or marketing literature provided to you, you may not remove, cover or alter the corporate logo.
\nDTactics\u2019s trade dress is the look and feel of our business. This style includes the format, colors, templates, packaging, labels, signs, posters or other promotional materials created by DTactics. You may not copy or imitate DTactics\u2019s trade dress, website, packaging or advertising materials.
\nIf you are licensed to use the DTactics logo, you may use it only pursuant to our corporate logo guidelines.
\nYou may not remove, cover or alter the DTactics logo or trademarks where they appear on any products, packaging or other materials provided to you by DTactics.
\nProducts, domains, business names, slogans
\nDTactics reserves all ownership rights to our trademarks, including all rights to the DTactics name and logo. Therefore:
\nYou may not register top-level domain names with our trademarks or trade names in them or use subdomains with our trademarks in them. This prohibition includes the trademark \u201cDTactics.\u201d
\nYou may not use, incorporate or combine any of our trademarks into your product names, business names, slogans or trade names.
\nYou may not combine any DTactics trademark with your trademarks or the trademark of any third party.
\nYou may not use or register, or apply to register any trademark that is the same as, or confusingly similar to any DTactics trademark.
\nYou may not use our trademarks in your slogans, or adopt or use our slogans, in whole or in part, as your own. You may not use our slogans in a manner that confuses or misleads customers.
\nWebsite Links
\nDTactics reserves all ownership rights to our trademarks, including all rights to the DTactics name and logo. Therefore:
\nYou may link to our website at www.DTactics.com, from your website, provided that you notify the website user that they are being re-directed to the DTactics website.
\nExamples of acceptable language are:

Use our trademarks as adjectives.
\nOur trademarks may never be used as possessives. The following examples show correct and incorrect usage:
\nCorrect use: The DTactics\u00ae GPS receivers are wonderful.
\nIncorrect use: The DTactics\u2019s new features are wonderful.
\nYou may not abbreviate, shorten or use a \u201cnickname\u201d for any DTactics trademark.<\/p>\n
Attribution of ownership.
\nIf you use DTactics trademarks on your website or refer to them in your printed marketing materials or advertising of DTactics products, you must provide a notice in your document that tells the reader who owns the trademark. Attribution is usually provided in the credit line of a printed document directly following a copyright notice.
\nMerchandise & Advertising Materials
\nYou may not use the DTactics trademarks on any of your promotional materials, including but not limited to merchandise such as t-shirts, bags, pens, keychains, golf balls or other items.
\nYou must obtain authorization from DTactics prior to using our trademarks in any advertising materials, regardless of the medium.
